Management Consultant
Remote, USA
NetYield provides professional services and software solutions to thousands of professionals in the seafood industry. Our customers include brokers, importers, traders, processors and distributors, from the one-person operation to a number of the country’s largest seafood enterprises.
As a Management Consultant, you’ll help our clients solve their toughest financial and operational problems. That includes tailoring our industry-leading NetYield ERP software to handle their unique businesses, convincing management to make important operational and financial control decisions, training operators to successfully run and monitor critical processes, expanding the capabilities of growing companies, and helping companies integrate acquisitions. You’ll be trained and supported by consultants with 30+ years of industry expertise and experience working for top professional services firms like McKinsey and PwC. Management Consultants quickly achieve expertise in the seafood industry, cost-accounting, and process manufacturing, becoming valued advisors to our clients.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in finance and/or operations for a weight-based product company, ideally seafood
- 3+ years of experience managing people
- Ability to structure and execute projects with minimal oversight
- Ability to lead change both with a management team and an operational team
- Strong written and oral communication
- Sales and/or technical skills are helpful, but not required
